Bradley Thomas Knott
Mr. Knott is a former Administrative Judge with the U.S. Department of Labor. He has been an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland University College School of Business Management since 1996. Knott teaches Employment Law for Business, Business Ethics and Business and Government.
Chet Olsen
Mr. Olsen is an attorney who works on all phases of our training module development, including course content. Chet began his legal career practicing with Baker & McKenzie and spent five years in the firm’s Los Angeles and Tokyo offices. Before joining LCT, Chet served as a product manager and content director with LRN, the Legal Knowledge Company. He also spent five years working in the California Legislature as Chief of Staff to the Speaker Pro Tempore of the California State Assembly. Chet has written extensively about the law and the legal profession through a nationally syndicated column and a book published by Simon and Schuster.
Mr. Olsen graduated from McGeorge School of Law, earned a graduate degree from Columbia University and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
Thomas Frank, Creative Director
As creative director, Mr. Frank’s main priority is that the products and services offered by LCT not only work effectively but are well designed to ensure ease of use. Coupling his thorough understanding of advertising and marketing practices with his background in design, Tom is able to focus on all the creative aspects of a project in order to provide the best insight to LCT clients. From web design to print advertising and direct mail to TV and radio production, Tom ensures a consistent and well-designed approach across all media.
Along with his role at LCT, Mr. Frank is also the co-founder and a partner of BIG fish Communications. As an integrated marketing, advertising and interactive agency, BIG fish collaborates with LCT and LCT’s clients to provide strategic direction to fulfill their complete range of communication needs.

Board of Advisors
Bonnie Campbell
Ms. Campbell is former Director of Arent, Fox Labor and Employment practice. Arent, Fox, a Washington D.C. based law firm with offices around the world. Ms. Campbell acts as an advisor, negotiator, advocate and litigator representing employers in personnel, labor relations, employment discrimination, benefits and other employment related matters. Her practice focuses on providing risk management services for employers seeking to minimize liability for employment discrimination claims. The includes reviewing company policies, assessing the adequacy of company training on employment discrimination matters and advising businesses generally on compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination requirements. She also offers crisis management counsel to businesses confronted with highly visible discrimination matters as they attempt to deal with the public, the media and an array of government agencies.
In 1995 Ms. Campbell was appointed by President Clinton as the Director of the Violence Against Women Office in the United States Department of Justice. Campbell's effectiveness in that capacity led Time Magazine in 1997 to name her one of the 25 most influential people in America. From 1991 –1995 Campbell was Attorney General for the State of Iowa.
Mary Colette Wilkins
Ms. Wilkins advises LCT on trends and developments within the Human Resource industry, and helps tailor LCT products to aptly service the HR needs of its clients. Ms. Wilkins is currently a Leader of HR employee development at The Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to joining Principal, Mary helped manage employee training at the world famous Dale Carnegie School as well as American Home Shield. Ms. Wilkins received her B.A. in Communications from the University of Iowa, and holds numerous training credentials and certifications from the Dale Carnegie School and other institutions.
Lawrence Solomon
Mr. Solomon is a co-founder of TutorTrak, Inc., a national matching program for tutoring services. With over ten thousand registered tutors and students, TutorTrak has grown to become the largest such service in the United States.
In addition to working on TutorTrak, other successful entrepreneurial ventures include consulting for Diginexus, LLC, an IT development company located in Philadelphia. Lawrence received his M.B.A. at Columbia University, with a focus in Entrepreneurial Finance and Economics.
Robert Perkins
Mr. Perkins is Vice President of Government Relations for Economic Strategy Institute, a Washington DC based non-profit organization. Perkins is the former Vice President for Government Affairs for Chrysler Corporation. Prior to moving to Washington DC Perkins was responsible for all Chrysler international operations including manufacturing and assembly operations.

Authors and Instructors
Bradley Thomas Knott
As noted above, Mr. Knott is a former Administrative Judge with the U.S. Department of Labor. He has been an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, University College Scholl of Business Management since 1996. Knott teaches Employment Law for Business, Business Ethics and Business and Government. Mr. Knott is also a consultant to American University's Center for Congressional and Presidential studies where he lectures on the U.S. political system and has created a curriculum on political campaign ethics that was funded through a grant by Pew Charitable Trusts.
Mr. Knott earned his bachelors' degree in Political Science and his Masters' degree in Communications and Theater Arts from the University of Iowa. In 1990 he was awarded a law degree from Catholic University of America. He is licensed to practice law in Iowa, the District of Columbia and Maryland.
Charles J. Kenny, Jr.
Mr. Kenny has been a lawyer and teacher in the Washington DC area for over twenty five years. As an attorney in private practice Mr. Kenny specializes in employment and business law. Dr. Kenny has been an adjunct professor at The Catholic University of America since 1993 where he teaches employment and business law as well as labor relations.
Eugenio Arene
Mr. Eugenio Arene was born and raised in El Salvador. In 1988, he graduated with a BA in Economics from the National University of Nicaragua. In 1988, he immigrated to the United States for advanced studies and became a naturalized citizen in 1993. In 1996, he was awarded a Masters in Political Science from Southwest Texas State University. In 1997, Mr. Arene was awarded a three-year doctoral fellowship from the Kellogg Foundation and the Hispanic Border Leadership Institute. Mr.Arene is presently a Ph.D. candidate in Education Leadership and Policy Studies from Arizona State University.
Since 2000, Mr. Arene has distinguished himself in the Latino community in the Washington metropolitan area by serving in both the public and private non-profit sectors. During Mayor Anthony Williams' first administration, he has served as the Deputy Director of the Mayor's Office on Latino Affairs (OLA). Mr. Arene was also the Executive Director of Shirlington Employment and Education Center, a day labor program serving Latino immigrants in Arlington, Virginia.
In April 2002, Mr. Arene became the Executive Director of the Council of Latino Agencies. The Council of Latinos Agencies is a non-profit membership organization comprising 36 multicultural community-based agencies in the District of Columbia, providing services in education, health, housing, legal assistance, job training, and cultural preservation for the Latino community and low-income residents.
Theresa Arene
Ms. Arene is a licensed clinical social worker with an expertise in displaced populations. She currently serves as an expert witness in immigration proceedings, providing psychological histories of immigrants and their family members before Immigration Courts. Ms. Arene is also a consultant to the Latino Youth Development Center in Washington, D.C. where she provides training to at-risk Latino Youth in developmentally appropriate interpersonal skills and rehearsal strategies for practicing those skills. She also designs and teaches strategies for adaptive coping responses to change and stress.
Ms. Arene was formerly a clinical social worker in a multi-ethnic parochial school where she conducted class presentations and workshops on preventative mental health/educational issues, provided crisis intervention services and served as liaison with numerous city and community-based organizations.
Ms. Arene earned her bachelors degree in sociology form the Central American University, San Salvador, El Salvador. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
